Ingredients For grand taco melts

  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix/ 1 ounce packet
  • 2/3 c
    water
  • 1 1/2 c
    thick and chunky style salsa
  • 1 lb
    lean ground beek,cooked amd well drained /80 % lean
  • 1 can
    grands biscuits
  • 1 c
    monteray jack chedder cheese or mexican cheese blend/shredded {4 ounce}
  • 1 c
    sour cream/optional
  • chopped fresh cilantro /optional

How To Make grand taco melts

  • 1
    preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2
    in a medium saucepan,cook taco seasoning mix,water,1/2 cup of the salsa and cooked and drained ground beef,until thickened.Add fresh cilantro if desired.

    press each biscuit into 6 inch round.

    fill each with taco mixture and 1 tablespoon of the cheese.

    fold dough over filling and press to seal.

    place each on a greased cookie sheet.

    BAKE:9-14 minutes until golden brown.

    Serve with some of the remaining salsa,more cheese, and sour cream if desired.
