Ingredients For rabbit in tomato sauce

1 lgrabbit, cut into parts

1 can( 15 oz) tomato sauce
-
1 mdonion, chopped
-
4 slicebacon , chopped or 1/4 cup bacon drippings

4 mdcarrots, sliced
-
1 smcan peas
-
1 cred or white wine
-
1 cflour, seasoned
-
oil for frying
-
2 clovegarlic, diced
-
parsley
-
1chicken cube
-
bay leaves
How To Make rabbit in tomato sauce

1Marinate rabbit parts in wine. Leave for 1 hour.

2Roll rabbit in seasoned flour and fry in hot oil, until browned on all sides. Remove from pan.

3In same pan fry onions, garlic and carrots. Add wine and evaporate. Add tomato sauce.

4Return rabbit parts to pan and simmer till tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Add liver, heart and peas 15 minutes before end of cooking. Keep warm until served.
