Ingredients For slow-cooked game day bbq ribs

  • 5 lb
    country style ribs
  • 1-1/2 c
    favorite bbq sauce
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 c
    chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 tsp
    dried thyme

How To Make slow-cooked game day bbq ribs

    trim any fat from ribs. Place ribs in a 4-quart slow-cooker. In bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, onion, celery, mustard, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, garlic and thyme.

    Pour sauce over ribs. Cover, cook on low 10 hrs, or on high for 5-1/2 hrs, or until meat is very tender and falling off the bones.

    Use a slotted spoon to remove ribs. Skim fat from sauce. Serve sauce in a bowl along side the ribs.
