Here's another cheeseburger casserole recipe called the Waldorf. It's filled with chopped walnuts, dried cherries, Dijon mustard and Wisconsin blue cheese. It's a New York taste.

3/4 cdried cherries

2 cchopped walnuts, divided

1 pkgwide egg noodles

olive oil

1 lbground beef
-
1red onion, diced

2 Tbspsteak seasoning

2 tspItalian dressing mix

1 tspseasoned pepper
-
1 cheavy cream
-
1/2 chalf and half
-
3/4 cDijon mustard
-
8 ozcream cheese, softened
-
2 ccrumbled Wisconsin blue cheese, divided
How To Make waldorf burger casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Coat a 13x9-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Add dried cherries and 1 cup chopped walnuts; mix well.

3Cook egg noodles according to package directions.

4Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced red onion. Cook for 6 minutes or until no longer pink; drain excess fat.

5Mix in steak seasoning, Italian seasoning and seasoned pepper. Remove from heat.

6In a medium bowl, mix heavy cream, half and half, Dijon mustard and cream cheese together for 3 minutes until blended.

7Stir in ground beef mixture, cooked egg noodles and 1 cup crumbled blue cheese. Set aside.

8Pour over a prepared baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining crumbled blue cheese and chopped walnuts.

9Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
