Ingredients For buffalo burger

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground buffalo meat
  • 1 sm
    onion, finely sliced or diced
  • 1 lb
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    finely chopped rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    finely ground pepper
  • 6 slice
    cheddar cheese
  • 6
    whole wheat burger buns
  • 1 lb
    spring mix salad

How To Make buffalo burger

  • 1
    Heat oil in a large skillet and add mushrooms: saute' until tender. Meahwhile, in a bowl large enough to hold the meat mix the meat, diced onion, rosemary, worcestershire and pepper. Mix only until combined, overmixing will make the burgers tough.

    Shape meat into six equal burgers. When mushrooms are finished remove to a bowl and place burgers in skillet

    Cook on each side for approximately three minutes, depending on the thickness of the burgers. While cooking second side add cheese so that it will melt evenly

    Remove from pan, place on buns add mushrooms and spring mix. Dress with your condiments of choice.
