Ingredients For taco biscuit bake

  • 1 (16 oz) jar
    old el paso medium taco sauce
  • 1 (12 oz) pkg
    hungry jack buttermilk flaky biscuits
  • 1 pkg
    old el paso taco seasoning mix
  • 1 c
    sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 sm
    can sliced black olives, drained
  • 1 sm
    can mushroom pieces and stems, drained
  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1/2
    red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 lg
    onion, chopped

How To Make taco biscuit bake

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish
  • 2
    Spread the taco sauce evenly over the bottom.

    Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Place biscuits on taco sauce and turn to coat.

    Sprinkle biscuits with 1/2 of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese and all of the olives.

    Mix gently and bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until bubbly.

    In a large skillet, combine the ground beef, peppers, mushrooms, and taco seasoning. Cook until beef is browned. Drain.

    Place the beef mixture in baking dish and sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake another 5 to 7 minutes.
