This is quick and not real spicy my husband cannot eat hot recipes ( spicy) He loves this one.

Ingredients For my own easy chili

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground sirloin
  • 2 can
    rinsed and drained dark red kidney beans
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes in sauce ( hunts)
  • 1 can
    diced green chiles ( mild)
  • 2 c
    water
  • 2 clove
    minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 lg
    red sweet pepper chopped
  • 1 md
    chopped sweet onion ( videla is my favorite)
  • 2 Tbsp
    tomato paste ( i use out of refrigerated tube)
  • kosher salt and pepper to taste

How To Make my own easy chili

    Brown ground sirloin Drain well
  • 2
    Add chili powder Garlic Onions Red peppers Stir into meat and cook until tender on low

    Add tomatoes and beans
  • 4
    Add water mixing well

    Simmer about one hour
  • 6
    Add tomato paste Simmer until thickened but still like a thick soup consistency

    Taste to see if needs salt add it and fresh black pepper Add some Franks Hot Sauce if you prefer spicer recipe Garnish with some shredded cheddar/ Jack cheese or fresh Cilantro if you like Serve with crusty bread and butter or hot rolls
