Ingredients For fireman bob's fire house burger # 2 " the sour k "

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 lb
    german sausage - ground
  • 1 lb
    veal - ground
  • 1 lb
    sour kraut - your own homemade or store bought
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slice
    smoked bacon - cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1/2 lb
    extra sharp cheddar cheese - grated
  • 1 Tbsp
    course sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    allspice, ground
  • 4 to 6
    hard rolls - your choice

How To Make fireman bob's fire house burger # 2 " the sour k "

    Place the beef, sausage, veal, worcestershire sauce, sea salt, pepper, and allspice in a large bowl and carefully combine till mixed. Set aside for 10 minutes.

    Place sour kraut in a skillet and warm through, add the crumbled bacon, and cheese and combine till mixed together.

    Divide the beef, sausage, and veal into mounds of 4 or 6 depending on how many you are feeding. Next divide each mound in half, Take 1 to 2 tablespoons of kraut/cheese mixture and place on the half patty. Take the other half and cover the kraut/cheese mixture encasing completely.

    Form a Burger 1 inch thick and do this with the other mounds of meat. Cook burgers in a hot skillet for 8 minutes each side turning only once.

    Once cooked place on a hard roll and serve with a napkin. ENJOY!!!!!
