Ingredients For chuck wagon casserole

  • 1/2 c
    onion chopped
  • 1/2 c
    green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 can
    mild chili beans in sauce
  • 3/4 c
    barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 pkg
    (81/2 oz) corn muffin mix
  • 1 can
    mexican style corn drained

How To Make chuck wagon casserole

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 400 F. Chop onion and bell pepper. Cook and stir ground beef, onion, and bell pepper over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink; drain. Stir in chili beans, barbecue sauce and salt. Bring to boil. Spoon int 9" square baking pan. Prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions; stir in corn. Spoon over meat mixter. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
