1/4 ptsalt pork, diced

4 lblean chuck beef, cut into 2 inch cubes

1 tspthyme, dried

1/2 tspfresh nutmeg, grated

1 bottlered burgundy wine

24 mdcremini mushrooms
How To Make beef burgundy

1In a large Dutch oven with lid, brown pork and brown onions. Remove onions and brown beef.

2Return pork to pan and add salt, pepper, garlic. bay leaves, orange peel, thyme, parsley, nutmeg, and marjoram.

3Barely cover with wine. Cover tightly and cook on low heat for 2 hours and 45 minutes.

4Add onions and mushrooms and cook 15 minutes more. Serve with French bread.
