Found this one years ago in a Taste of Home mag. The lady who invented it is Carrie Mitchell. It is a very tasty casserole indeed. If you can't find the deluxe mac and cheese, any mac and cheese in a box that you like is fine, also on the salmon, a small 6 oz, or even larger can is fine too.

Ingredients For salmon macaroni bake

  • 14 oz
    deluxe macaroni and cheese dinner mix
  • 1 can
    (10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 6 or large oz
    can salmon, bones and skin removed
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder, or 2 tbs grated onion
  • 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese,or even velveeta
  • 1/2 c
    seasoned bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make salmon macaroni bake

    Pre heat oven to 375°
  • 2
    Spray a casserole with non stick spray.

    Make mac and cheese to directions on the box. Then stir in soup, milk, salmon, onion, and cheese
  • 4
    In a bowl, put the breadcrumbs, dot with butter, and cook in microwave until butter melts, then mix with a fork.

    Sprinkle breadcrumbs all around the outside of the casserole, in a ring.

    Bake uncovered until hot and bubbly, maybe 40 minutes.
