Been making this since 1966. One of the first shrimp dishes I learned to make. This is such a favorite of my family I have to double it.

Ingredients For easy shrimp curry

  • 1 lb
    cooked. peeled, devained shrimp ( any size you choose)
  • 1 1/2 c
    finely chopped tart apples
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 tsp
    curry powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    milk

How To Make easy shrimp curry

    Prepare shrimp and set aside.
  • 2
    In med sauce pan, melt butter. Add flour, curry and salt and combine. Add apples and cook until tender. About 5 minutes.

    Slowly add milk stir and cook until thick, usually 2 minutes.
  • 4
    Add shrimp and heat throughly. Serve over fluffy white rice and sprinkle with paprika.
