vodka steak marinade

I wanted to marinate a steak one day, and ran out of red wine. So, I found a bottle of vodka, and just started experimenting with what I had on hand. This marinade works well on anything! -- beef, pork, chicken, I have even mixed it into hambuger. Enjoy!

Ingredients For vodka steak marinade

  • 1/3 c
    vodka
  • 1/4 c
    fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 Tbsp
    sea salt
  • 3
    large cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp
    dried parsley flakes
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried thyme

How To Make vodka steak marinade

  • 1
    Whisk together all ingredients. Marinate meat of choice for 12 hours. Grill as desired, and enjoy!
