This recipe is a favorite of my daughter Natasha, I make it with ground turkey...but you can also make with ground chicken, pork or beef.

Ingredients For stuffed cubanelle peppers

4cubanelle peppers

2 lbground turkey or chicken

1 smfinely diced onion

2 clovesmashed garlic

2 Tbspolive oil

16 ctomato sauce

8 ozcan of chopped tomatoes

1 sprigcilantro
-
1 sprigparsley
-
1/2 tspsalt

1 cwhite wine
How To Make stuffed cubanelle peppers

1cut peppers in half, the long way, take out seeds.

2in a bowl mix together the ground turkey or chicken with the onions,garlic & salt

3stuff the peppers, in a large wide pot, put the tomato sauce and half the can of chopped tomatoes & the white wine, place the peppers on top of the sauce and simmer for about an hour...basting the peppers every 15 mins with the sauce... add in chopped cilantro & parsley..
