I have made creamed chicken this way for over twenty years. It's my kids favorite!

Ingredients For nothing special creamed chicken

  • chicken legs ( 1 per person)
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    milk or cream or
  • 1/2 can
    water (not a whole can)
  • mushrooms, fresh, chopped optional
  • bread crumbs, dry, optional

How To Make nothing special creamed chicken

    Thaw chicken
  • 2
    Mix soup with liquid (milk, cream, water) your choice. If you use water use the LESSER amount, 1/2 can. 1 can will make the mixture too diluted and runny Pour over chicken

    Add mushrooms

    Top with bread crumbs

    Bake at 350 for 1 hour or til done ( will run CLEAR JUICE, legs wiggle, tender and liquid is bubbling) Serve over rice, noodles....
