Ingredients For marinated chicken gyro wraps
- CHICKEN

1 1/2 lbchicken cutlets, cut into 1in long fingers

2 Tbspolive oil

1 clovegarlic
-
1 tspdried oregano
-
3/4 tspground cumin
-
salt and pepper
- YOGURT-DILL SAUCE
-
1 cgreek yogurt or plain yogurt

1/4 cfinely chopped red onion
-
1to 2 clovegarlic, minced

1 1/2 Tbspchopped fresh dill
-
2 tspfreshly squeezed lemon juice

salt and pepper
- WRAP
-
4pita wraps,warm
-
1 cshredded lettuce
-
1 cchopped tomato
-
1/2 csliced cucumber
How To Make marinated chicken gyro wraps

1In a large bowl, place the chicken,oil,1 clove garlic, oregano,cumin and salt and pepper to taste; toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

2In a small bowl, stir together the yogurt-dill ingredients. Chill until ready to use.

3Preheat the broiler. Spread the chicken on a baking sheet. Broil 6 inches from heat about 8 minutes or until cooked through.

4To serve, spread each pita with some of the Yogurt-Dill sauce. Divide the chicken,lettuce,tomato, and cucumber evenly among the pitas. If desired, top with more sauce.
