I think everyone in the south knows how to make BBQ chicken this way - don't really know how we know - just that we all seem to know somehow! It's impossibly easy and impossibly good!

1Spray a large stock pot with cooking spray. Place chicken into pot; pour in Coke (do not use diet or Coke Zero - you must use regular Coke). Cover with lid, reduce heat to medium to medium-low and boil for 50 minutes (you do not want a rapid boil but more than a simmer).

2After 50 minutes, pour in BBQ sauce (you do not need to stir) and continue to boil 50 additional minutes.
