Found this recipe many years ago on the internet. It is reputed to be a celebration of farmers along the Eastern Shore at harvest time. It is wonderfully easy and oh, so tasty.

Ingredients For devilish chicken and corn on the cob

    whole chicken, cut up
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp
    cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 4
    ears corn
  • 1/4 c
    dried breadcrumbs

How To Make devilish chicken and corn on the cob

    Pre-heat oven to 400F
  • 2
    In bowl, stir together melted butter, mustard, vinegar, thyyme, salt and cayenne pepper.

    Brush corn and chicken thoroughly with the butter mixture.

    Arrange chicken in one layer in a baking dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Leave uncovered. Set corn in another baking dish, cover with aluminum foil. Bake both one hour.
