What an easy and delicious chicken casserole. The flavorful meat mixture is made from chicken breasts, beans, cream soup, and, of course, cheese. Taco sauce and green chiles add a nice kick of spice. Flour tortillas create a crust, and the bits that are hanging over the casserole dish get nice and crunchy. Everyone will gobble up this chili chicken, so it will become an easy dinner that will go into your weekly rotation.

Ingredients For chili chicken

    chicken breast, filets or bone in
  • 1/2 md

  • 6 oz
    taco sauce
  • 1 can
    chopped green chiles (4 oz)
  • 1 can
    chili with beans (15 oz)
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 4 - 6
    flour tortillas
  • 1 bag
    shredded cheese (16 oz)

How To Make chili chicken

  • Oven preheating to 350 degrees.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cooked chicken shredded.

    Boil chicken until tender. Set aside to cool. Pull apart or debone the chicken.
  • Chicken in a saucepan with onions, green chiles, taco sauce, chili with beans, cream of mushroom, and cream of chicken.

    Put chicken in a large skillet or saucepan. Add onions, green chiles, taco sauce, chili with beans, cream of mushroom, and cream of chicken. Bring to a low-rolling boil, stirring frequently.
  • Tortillas placed in a baking dish.

    Line a pan or oven dish with flour tortillas letting them hang over the sides and overlap inside the container.
  • Chicken mixture poured into baking dish and sprinkled with cheese.

    Pour the chicken mixture into the casserole dish. Top with cheese.
  • Baking the chicken casserole.

    Bake until the cheese is well melted and the shells are golden brown.
