Ingredients For chicken tacos with salsa verde cream

  • 2/3 c
    light sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    canned chopped mild green chilies, drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    hot pepper sauce
  • 12 md
    taco shells, warmed
  • 4 c
    cooked, chopped chicken (taco seasoning to taste)
  • 3/4 c
    shredded mexican cheese
  • 1/2 c
    lettuce (i use fesh spinach)
  • 2 sm
    tomatoes, chopped

How To Make chicken tacos with salsa verde cream

    Comine the sour cream, chiles, cilantro, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  • 2
    Put oil in a frying pan and çook chopped chicken in taco seasoning to taste.

    Fill the taco shells with equal amounts of chicken, cheese, lettuce/spinach and tomato; top with 2 tablessons of sour cream mixture.
