Ingredients For sheperd's pie

1 1/2 lbground beef or bison

16 ozfrozen mixed vegetables

1 mdonion, cut up

1 smpackage of tater tots
-
8 ozsliced portabello mushrooms

1/2 ccheese, shredded
-
2 pkgbrown gravy mix
How To Make sheperd's pie

1Brown meat on medium heat in a skillet until cooked. Salt and pepper to taste.

2add onion and mushrooms to meat. Cover and cook until mushrooms and onions are cooked through. approximately 5 minutes.

3Add gravy mix to 1 1/2 cups of water.

4Stir gravy into meat mixture and cook until gravy has thickened.

5Remove from heat and spread meat mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 pan.

6Add mixed vegetables and spread evenly over meat.

7Place tater tots over the top of vegetables. You can place them in any order that you desire for funness. but the veggies need to be completely covered.

8Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. remove pan from oven.

9Sprinkle cheese over the top of the pie and return it to the oven for another 5 minutes.
