Blue Ribbon Recipe

This pizzaiola is an easy meal anyone can make. Thinly sliced round steak is cooked with a well seasoned homemade tomato sauce filled with Italian flavors. Round steak is great for recipes that are braised (cooked in liquid) because it becomes tender as it's slowly cooked. Serve over pasta with an extra sprinkle of Romano cheese and some fresh parsley for Italian take-out at home. Make sure to take the steak out of the fridge 30 minutes prior to cooking to cut the chill.
