1bay leaf

1/2 tsporegano

1/2 ctomato sauce

1salt and pepper to taste

4 mdpotatoes, cubed

2carrots, sliced
How To Make mom's beef stew

1Saute onion and garlic in oil.

2Add every thing except potatoes and carrots to large pot.

3Cover tightly and simmer 1 1/2 hours until meat is thoroughly tender.

4Half an hour before meat is ready add carrots and potatoes.
