The Pinquant Sauce gives it a special topping kick for added flavor. My 5-year old grandson likes to help crack the eggs and smoosh everything up as he calls it.

Ingredients For meat loaf with piquant sauce

  • 2/3 c
    crakcer crumbs
  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 2
    beaten eggs
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 tsp
    seasoning salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • PINQUANT SAUCE
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard

How To Make meat loaf with piquant sauce

  • 1
    Add meat, eggs, cracker crumbs, onion and seasonings. Mix well. Place in greased loaf pan.

    Combine Pinquant Sauce ingredients together in bowl and spread evenly on top of meatloaf. Bake 350 for one hour.

    Remove from oven and let meatloaf set about 5 minutes before serving.
