This is a recipe from my daughter's ex-mother-in-law, who entertained a lot. This was a dish Lois served her guests frequently.

Ingredients For lois' stuffed peppers

  • 3/4 lb
    ground beef, browned and greased drained
  • 3
    green peppers, par-boiled 5 - 7 minutes
  • 1 sm
    can tomato sauce
  • 1 can
    spanish rice (old el paso is what she used)

How To Make lois' stuffed peppers

  • 1
    Brown the ground beef and drain. Cut the tops off the green peppers and par-boil 5 - 7 minutes. Mix all ingredients together and stuff the peppers. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
