    ketchup (or bbq sauce)
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    milk (or half & half)
  • 1

How To Make grandma's meatloaf

Mix all ingredients together by hand. (Do not "spoon." Really use your hands. It gives the mixture a much better texture.) Do not use any kind of bread or cracker crumbs. This is a loaf and not a bundle. If you mix it well; the egg acts as the stabilizer. Shape into a loaf according to the pan you use. (Our family prefers a square pan.) Cover with 1/4 inch of cold water and cook at 350 for 45 minutes to an hour. A meatloaf should be moist; not dry!
