crockpot meatballs with remnant sauce

I love making these meatballs and sauce because I get to clean out my refrigerator of all the bottles that are almost empty. I have found that as long as I have a tomato base sauce along with almost anything else this sauce turns out great. It is always different and never the same twice but everyone loves them. Sometimes they are spicy/hot & other times they are sweet & savory. I make sure I recycle the bottles as well. I taught my oldest nephew Rhyan how to make these at home and how it is an easy dinner meal for the entire family. As my Grammie would of said, "Waste not, want not".

  • 2
Add one bag of frozen meatballs into the sauce mixture.
  • 3
Cook for at least 45 minutes on medium or on low for 3 hrs or so until the meatballs are hot. This is just the minimum amount of time they need to be in the crockpot. I usually have mine in the crockpot for several hours on low so that family can help themselves to a meal whenever they want.
