Ingredients For chop suey

  • 1/4 c
    butter, cold
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper (dash of pepper)
  • 2 c
    chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 c
    hot water
  • 1 can
    chinese vegies
  • 2 c
    beef stew meat
  • THICKNER
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    corn starch
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    molasses
  • 1 tsp
    sugar

How To Make chop suey

  • 1
    Cook meat in pan until lightly browned. Melt butter, add onion and cook 3 min. Add celery, salt and pepper, hot water cover and cook 5 min. Add thickner,stir and cook another minute, add vegies and meat back to pan, cook and cover for 10 mins
