Who would have thought? But I had a friend who knew I love trying new recipes and HE didn't have a rice cooker, so he asked me to try this. He found it on Instructables.com. It is the MOISTEST burger I've ever had. Word to the wise (or those that don't hang out in Asian grocery stores), fried onion and fried garlic come dry in a can. I think mine would have tasted better if I hadn't actually fried up the garlic and onion. . .

  • 1/3 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 pinch
    fried onion
  • 1 pinch
    fried garlic
  • 1
    hamburger bun
  • 1 slice
    muenster cheese
  • 1
    lettuce leaf
  • 1 slice
    tomato

How To Make cheeseburger made in a rice cooker

    Place ground beef in a plastic bag. Add garlic and onion. Squish bag and set aside to marinate.

    Turn on rice cooker and allow to heat up. Place patty into rice cooker. Wait for 5 minutes. Turn patty over and cook for another 3 minutes.

    Stack burger, cheese, lettuce and tomato between the buns.
