This is a wonderful Sunday dinner! The beef is so tender and flavorful my kids licked they're plates! I also made fresh carrots sliced diagonally and cooked them until tender, then sprinkled them with thyme and parsley in 2 TBS melted butter. The shallots and garlic were served on top of the brisket. The meal is wonderful with very little effort!
