i first tasted these as a appetizers but have made these as a main course.

Ingredients For applesauce meatballs

  • 2 c
    crushed cornflakes
  • 1
    small onion finely chopped
  • 2 lb
    hamburger
  • 1
    egg
  • 2/3 c
    applesauce
  • 1 can
    tomato soup
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar

How To Make applesauce meatballs

  • 1
    mix the cornflakes, onion,beef,egg,applesauce. form into balls. place in greased dish. add the sauce and bake 350 45 to 60 min the sauce, soup, sugar, water. heat until sugar is dissolved. pour over meat and bake. i have made extra sauce and put over pasta. this is a bland dish but you can spice it up. my kids like it this way.
