Ingredients For freezer meatballs

    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 3 c
    soft bread crumbs (4 slices)
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 3 lb
    ground beef

How To Make freezer meatballs

    In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs. Stir in milk, bread crumbs, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Add ground meat and mix well. Chill in refrigerator. With wet hands shape meat mixture into 6 dozen (72) 1 inch meatballs. Bake meatballs in two 15 1/2 x 10 x 1 inch baking pans in a 375 F oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Place meatballs on another baking pan. Cool. Place meatballs in freezer just until frozen.Place 12 meatballs in each of six containers. Label packages with amount and date. Freeze until ready for use.
