This tropical fruit drink is wonderfully refreshing. This really is not a Breakfast drink, its more of a fruit slushy. If you add protein powder and/or prepared oatmeal, it can be a nice filling beverage you can have in the morning that will last till lunch.

Ingredients For tropical chiller

  • 1 md
    banana frozen and in chunks
  • 1/3 c
    pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c
    strawberries frozen
  • 1 c
    plain yogurt, low fat
  • 1 c
    canned pineapple chunks with juice (about 1/4 c juice)
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 pkg
    splenda (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp
    flax (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp
    wheat germ (optional)
  • 6
    ice cubes

How To Make tropical chiller

  • 1
    Place half of each ingredient in a blender; adding half of strawberries one at a time, cover and process until blended. Repeat with rest of ingredients; pulsing to break up strawberries and combine. Add ice and pulse to crush into smoothie. Pour into glasses.
