Connie asked me to post this so she could save it to her recipe box. It will make 14 teaspoons; which is enough for 14 cups of coffee. You might want to mess around a bit with the quantities and make it your own, but this how I like my pumpkin spice coffee. So, you ready... Let's get into the kitchen.

  • 1
    PREP/PREPARE
  • 2
Mix all the spices together, and store in a cool dry place.
  • 3
Chef's Tip: I store mine in an old glass spice bottle.
  • 4
Add one teaspoon of the spice mix, to the coffee grounds, per cup of coffee, and then brew in your normal manner.
  • 5
Chef's Note: We all have spices in our cabinets that have been there since the beginning of time. If you want your coffee to taste like pumpkin pie, then make sure your spices are fresh.
  • 6
For the nutmeg, buy the whole nuts, and then use a microplane. It makes a huge difference to the flavor.
  • 7
After the coffee brews, add a bit of cream, to taste. Maybe even some whipped cream... or not.
  • 8
Chef's Note: This is how I like my pumpkin spice coffee, but everyone has his or her own particular likes and dislikes. Play around with the quantities until you achieve that “prefect” blend of spices. Enjoy.
