Ingredients For coffee liqueur

  • 1 1/3 c
    vodka
  • 2 Tbsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 c
    instant coffee
  • 1 1/2 c
    basic syrup #2

How To Make coffee liqueur

    Stir sugar syrup and instant coffee until very smooth in a 2-4 cup measure. Pour into a 4 cup screw top mason jar. Stir in vodka and vanilla. Close jar. Store in a cool, dark place for at least one week to age. (or longer - depending on your taste preference)

    Basic Syrup #2 1½ cups Firmly Packed Brown Sugar 1 cup Gradulated Sugar 2 cups Water DIRECTIONS: Combine sugars and water in a large saucepan. Heat to boiling, stirring often. Lower heat, simmer for 5 mins. Pour syrup into a glass container and cool to room temperature before preparing liqueurs
