electric iced tea (cocktail)

Similar to a Long Island Iced Tea, except no tequila. One version of the history of this drink is that in the 1950s, several women at a posh Long Island country club would meet in the bar after their tennis lessons. Since the bar wasn't yet opened to lunch customers, they'd slip behind the counter and add a little bit of the various liquors to their glasses. Their concoction looked a lot like iced tea, so they were able to enjoy their "iced tea" without raising suspicions. I'll leave it up to everyone to decide if that's the true history. I prefer to believe it, even if just for a few giggles.
