I attended a wedding at the Seelbach Hilton in Louisville, KY a few years ago and was served this at the bar. The bartender didn't exactly give me the recipe - I just watched what she was doing.

Ingredients For seelbach cocktail (kentucky)

1 oz. good kentucky bourbon whisky
½ oz. triple sec or cointreau
4 dashes of aromatic bitters
champagne
twist of orange peel for garnish

How To Make seelbach cocktail (kentucky)

Pour bourbon, liqueur and bitters in cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake until chilled then strain into cocktail glass.

Top off with champagne and garnish with a twist of orange peel.
