my mother made this when i was a child. i had forgotten about it until susan reminded me of it. i called mom and she said she used other flavors of jello. i liked the raspberry one the best but she like the strawberry,and made it most often. this is simple to make and inpressive for company.

Ingredients For strawberry apple pie

    pie shell
  • 6
    baking apples of your liking
  • 1 pkg
    strawberry jello small
  • 1 c
    butter cold
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    flour
  • cinnamon if desired

How To Make strawberry apple pie

  • 1
    take the cold butter and cut into cubes. add the sugar and flour and mix until crumbly. set aside. peel and slice the apples. sprinkle on the jello and mix well. pour into pie shell. if using cinn, you may add it on the apples or on the strusel. add the struesel and bake in 350 oven for app 45 min. sometimes she didn't use the cinn, it depended on her mood.
