Good way to use scraps from leftover pie crust,Or you can just make a whole recipe for pie crust. These were a childhood favorite that my mother and I enjoyed to bake together. On the recipe card my mother states: Make a Double Crust Recipe as these wont last long!

  • double pie crust (your favorite recipe)
  • 1 jar
    of jelly or jam ( your favorite flavor) or cinnamom sugar mixture
  • BAKE AT 350 DEGREES TILL JUST GOLDEN BROWN

    Roll to thickness of pie shell. Use a doughnut hole cutter and make equal amounts cut out, for top with hole and bottom without hole. bake on Ungreased cookie sheet just till golden brown. Cool. then spread your favorite jelly or jam on the solid bottom crust then put the top crust with the hole on top of bottom crust.
