My grandmother used to make this. I really love this Sweet and tasty pie. We had it for Christmas and Thanksgiving. A must have at my house. My friends love it! Let me know what yall think. Hope you all enjoy.

Ingredients For corn meal pie

  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    white corn meal
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 stick
    butter

How To Make corn meal pie

  • 1
    Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.... Melt Butter
  • 2
    Add flour and corn meal to butter. Beat the eggs and mix in with the flour corn meal and butter.

    Mix the two sugars together and add in the mixture then add milk.

    Put the vanilla in and mix it up. Cook in Pre-Heated oven on 350 imediately after mixing and putting in deep dish pie shell for 1 hour or just til pie set ready.
