Pauline Stegall Poe, the youngest child of 14 children, born to Lenora Ann Parrish Stegall and William Stegall, is 98 years old and is my mother’s only living aunt. My granny, Mary Francis Stegall Rodgers, was my mother’s mother and was aunt Pauline’s oldest sister. Aunt Pauline grew up on a ranch in west Texas during the early 1900's. Aunt Pauline lives near Marble Falls Texas and came to visit my mother in July 2012. She is a fabulous cook and I am very proud to be able to include this family recipe that she submitted to me.
