This is Mammy's (my Mom) recipe for her famous Cherry Cheesecake that everyone loves. You can also use different fruit toppings instead of cherry.

Ingredients For mammy's cherry cheesecake

  • CRUST
  • 24-30
    graham cracker squares
  • 1/2 c
    margarine
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • FILLING
  • 1
    tub whipped topping
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese (8 oz.)
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • TOPPING
  • 1 can
    cherry pie filling

How To Make mammy's cherry cheesecake

  • 1
    Mix ingredients for crust until crumbly--don't let it form a ball. Press into bottom and sides of pie pan and bake at 350 for 5-8 minutes.

    Beat together ingredients for filling until stiff. Spread onto cooled crust and top with cherry pie filling. Chill 1-2 hours.
