This came from a Mississippi paper and is wonderful. Most people have everything in their pantry for this recipe. Have made it many times and it is always all eaten....easy.

Ingredients For carmel-pecan cobbler

  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    self rising flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    very hot water
  • 2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make carmel-pecan cobbler

    Pre-heat oven to 350. Melt butter in 9 x 13 dish. Mix flour, white sugar, vanilla and milk to make batter. Pour over melted butter.....DO NOT STIR. Sprinkle with chopped pecans, Set aside. Mix brown sugar & hot water. Stir to melt sugar. Pour this hot mixture over batter & nuts. Bake for about 30 minutes or til golden brown & bubbly. Can be served warm or cold...We prefer warm. Add Ice cream or whipped cream it desired.
