We went to visit my husbands Aunt and Uncle down in Florida. She had made this for our dessert. I loved it and ask her for the recipe. I have made it many times since. Thanks Lorna! It is so easy and you can dress it two ways which makes it taste totally different. You never get tired of it. And everytime I serve it they always want the recipe like I did.

Ingredients For ice cream dessert

  • 1/2 c
    light or dark karo syrup
  • 1/2 c
    smooth peanut butter
  • 4 c
    cocoa krispie cereal
  • 1/2 gal
    vanilla ice cream
  • spanish peanuts (garnish)
  • hershey's syrup (garnish)
  • sliced strawberries ( garnish)

How To Make ice cream dessert

  • 1
    Mix Karo, Peanut Butter, and cereal together. Spread in bottom of 9x13 pan which has been greased. Cover with Ice Cream that has been slightly thawed. Put in freezer until next day. When ready to serve you can drizzle hershey syrup over icecream and sprinkle peanuts on top. Or you can use sliced strawberries with the hershey syrup.
