This is the first thing my Granny ever taught me to make. It's simple as simple can be to make but it tastes like you've spent hours working on it. Try it with a little milk poured over it. Delicious !

Ingredients For my granny's apple cobbler

  • 1 c
    self rising flour
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 can
    apple pie filling

How To Make my granny's apple cobbler

    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Put 1 stick butter (butter is better than margarine) in a 13x9 pan and put it in the oven until melted.

    Mix flour, sugar, and milk together. Whisk if there are large lumps. Pour over butter in pan, then spoon pie filling over batter here and there.

    You can use any type of pie filling and it doesn't matter that it doesn't cover the flour, milk and sugar mixture. The mixture will rise up and cover the pie filling as it bakes.
