This is a dessert favorite and perfect for summer potlucks. You can make this with fresh or canned peaches. In summer, I prefer to make this with fresh peaches.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

An easy peach cobbler recipe that tastes of summer. It uses an old-fashioned method of melting the butter in the pan ahead of time. When pouring the batter into the hot pan, the batter instantly starts to rise creating a fluffy cobbler. The salted butter and sweet peaches give the whole cobbler a wonderful salty/sweet flavor profile. Peaches were not in season when we tested this recipe, so we used canned. In summer, though, when fresh peaches are at their juiciest we suggest using them. Serve with a scoop of ice cream for a wonderful dessert.
