    butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1 pinch
    nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 1/3 c
    cranberry juice
  • 1/4 c
    blackberry jam, seedless
  • 1-1/4 c
    blackberries (fresh or frozed, thawed)

    Preheat oven to 325 and lightly grease one 8X8 pan.

    Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy... add egg and mix well.

    Combine flour, salt, soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg in separate bowl.

    Add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture, then stir in vinegar and juice.
