How To Make apple dumplins

  • 1
Cut each apple into eights and put one-eighth piece into a crescent roll (at the larger end) and roll up. Place each apple-filled crescent roll into a 9X13 pan, 2 rows of 8. Melt one stick of butter and add one cup of sugar. Spoon on top of each crescent roll. Pour can of Mountain Dew on top of crescent rolls. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of rolls and then add walnuts. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. When they come out of the oven, use a spoon and spoon the butter/sugar/Mt. Dew mixture over the rolls. Delicious for breakfast but you can also serve with vanilla ice cream for dessert. This is great for fall and a very requested recipe! Don't let the Mt. Dew fool you. It doesn't taste like Mt. Dew. :)
