Ingredients For red hot love apple pie

2 pkgstore bought pie crust not good at making my own but you can make your own double crust

6apples peeled

2 1/2 oz boxred hots candies

1/4 cupwater

3 tbscorn starch

1/2 tspnutmeg

1/2 stickbutter chopped into pieces
How To Make red hot love apple pie

1pre heat oven 350 put red hots and water in saucepan on stove low heat until candy is dissolved like syrup

2chop peeled apples place in a bowl toss with corn starch and nutmeg butter until coated then toss with red hot candy syrup until coated

3apple mixture into pie shell top with top piecrust crimp edges put a couple slits in top brush with melted butter sprinkle cinnammon sugar on the top crust if you like

4bake 45 min to hour until crust is golden brown

5let cool for about 15 mins or so you serve with vanilla ice cream this is really good
