Ingredients For lemon chess pie

  • 3
    large eggs
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1/4 c
    evaporated milk (canned cream)
  • 4 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated lemon rind
  • 1
    unbaked 9 inch pie crust

How To Make lemon chess pie

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs and sugar together for 2 minutes. Add butter and cream, and beat for 2 more minutes. Add lemon juice and rind, and mix well.

    Pour into pie crust and bake for 30-40 minutes until top is medium brown and jiggling in the middle third of pie. It will set up completely as it cools.

    Serve with a spoonful of Cool Whip on top.
